The Universal Law of Correspondence

This Universal Law is about having an understanding of how you show up in the world. Which I find interesting because it’s about our thoughts, words and actions that we have that we also reflect back to us.

I wonder at times what is it that I’m thinking that I am attracting negative people into my life or even situations. However, this is a great way for me to actually reflect on myself and find out where this negativity is creeping in and I do this by learning from the experiences that enter into my life.

As Above, So Below

Our thoughts map out what we reflect in life and how we create our world. Our thoughts need to be clear and concise and positive. What you see in life is what you have projected so let’s have a look at your day, if you say your gonna have a great day but deep down inside you believe it will be shit, I can guarantee you that your day will be shit.

Reflect on yourself and what you are thinking, you will need to be consciously aware of how you are thinking and how you are talking and acting at the same time. Be genuine with yourself, have you or someone you know, do something that causes them fear but they try and hide it by saying I’m fine or I’m good but their face expression clearly shows fear, their body is trembling with fear but they keep telling themselves they’re good.

So when your thoughts match your words and match what you do then you will reflect exactly what you are putting out.

Change From Within

So what causes your thoughts, well they begin from your subconscious. But what actually influences you to have these thoughts? They can be learned behaviour taught from our parents or whomever raised you and whatever you pick up from outside environmental influences such as school, work and from other people.

What I found interesting is that our thoughts especially the negative ones come from the crap we watch on TV. In order for channels to get people to watch their shows it needs to have drama, heartache, something that shocks you and something that may make you cry and that’s what draws you into watching their show, check out the adverts for shows on TV.

What I found with the News and Newspapers that the information given out is not 100% accurate they can only tell you with the information they have gathered. There was this article in one of the main newspapers in Australia where they did a small research on HRT and that the end result was that majority of women ended up with cancer. When you look at the research, first of all they were all women from one country and not only that it was a tiny group considering how many women are in the world. When my Mother read this article she stopped her HRT immediately, at that time I was a Nurse and explained to her the research is fony and not even worth your attention. There must have been many complaints about this article as the following week this particular Newspaper printed an apology article. After that I stopped reading papers.

To this day I do not watch the News nor do I read Newspapers and I haven’t missed out on anything. These negative shows actually influence the way we think, even our social media can be quite negative because people who are facing a problem will seek help and comfort in sharing their problems on Facebook and those kind of platforms.

So how can you limit this? I tell my clients to stop watching the News and reading the Newpapers and if they choose to still do this then I encourage them to limit it to once a day and that’s including social media. Replace it with music that makes you happy, even YouTube has shows that are encouraging, I like listening to Tony Robins and Esther Hicks.

You Have The Power

Have you wanted or bought a car and you are specific of which model, shape, type of car you want then all of a sudden you see this particular car all the time driving around. This is because your thought is now being played in your mind all the time to which you notice the car more.

So how can we develop this so that you manifest things into your life? Remembering that this law is about reflection we need to look what our desires are. When you have a clear view of what it is that you want then you can shape your life beginning with your thoughts.

I went to a seminar last year and this one sentence stuck with me, in order for you to be successful (in your business) you need to hang out with people who are already successful. That to me made sense, if you want positivity in your life then who are you hanging out with?

1. Be clear with what you want

2. What surrounds you that can help you reach your desire

I love vision boards for this or even have a piece of paper next to your bed so that you can see it before you sleep.

3. Begin changing your thoughts

Try not to have the negative emotions and thoughts creep in.

4. Talk and walk as thought you have already achieved it.

EXERCISES

Reflection: Reflect on your negative experiences and find out what you had learnt from that incident.

Reflect on your beliefs what beliefs do you believe in strongly and which ones you believe in but needs a little adjusting.

Meditation: visualise your desire so that you can see yourself achieving what it is that you want.

This law can be a lot of fun in a way because it’s good way for you to test little things and see the beauty of what you manifest. Also, it’s a great way to learn where our negativity comes from and be more vigilant in changing the way we think.
